Nobody likes surprises, so here are a few FAQ’s for my clients:
When is payment due?
Payment is due at the time of service
Do you work weekends?
I will book weekends only when necessary and certainly in case of emergency.
Do I need to be there to hold my horse?
For safety reasons I do require a handler, if for no other reason but to call 911!
Do you charge for missing shoes?
I do if it isn’t my shoe that’s lost!
Will you catch my horse?
What kind of client do I like to work for?
A farrier’s dream client is someone who has the horse clean and ready to be worked on, a well-lit work area out of the sun or rain and payment at time of service. If you can do that, we’ll get along great!
